Fantasy as in swords and sorcery, elves and dragons, quests and adventures. For myself, I liked the style - gritty, dark, of course - and the characters. So I just recently finished Richard Morgan's The Steel Remains, and I gotta say I'm going to have to noise him up about not sending me an ARC. "The Steel Remains" is a fantasy book. What I do know is the tracklist makes me moist with excitement. The Steel Remains is Morgan's first fantasy novel, and it is pretty terrific. I was eager to write my review about The Steel Remains. As you may know, this was a tremendously expected new entry in Fantasy. Here I have to say I am uncomfortable. Morgan, unfortunately, thinks that the fantasy genre also means sex. Don't know an awful lot (well nothing actually) about dcom.
